The MMM Athletics Department runs all of the major sports teams and competes within the Edmonton Metro Athletics Association. With a smaller student population, students have a greater opportunity to compete on teams. All great athletes become great in the off season. MMM Athletics have developed off season regiments that are tailored to individual sports. MMM athletes have won multiple championships and tournaments in volleyball, curling, swimming, basketball and golf. The MMM Swim Team broke numerous city records this school year. The Mother Margaret Mary Storm Athletic Department strives to have a transformative impact on students and staff through diverse, established and supported programs that inspire a growing sense of community, school pride and success based on the values of faith, excellence and dedication.
MMM offers twenty-eight different athletics programs in both team and individual sports, providing numerous opportunities for student athletes. Athletic programs look to develop leadership within the school and provide opportunities for all athletes to be successful. All student athletes are expected to contribute to the growing culture of the school through scorekeeping, officiating and hosting tournaments, both at school and within our community of feeder schools.
In eight short years, MMM has captured ten championships and sent several athletes to compete provincially.
