SOCIAL STUDIES 10-1 & 10-2

Students explore how globalization has encouraged a new global interrelationship of humanity;  engage in human rights discussions including promoting human prosperity and deciding on a sustainable development solution; and learn to enjoy the exploration of identity and the politics  of relationship within society, government and other nations.
PRE-REQUISITE: 40% or higher for -2 level and 50% or higher for -1 level

SOCIAL STUDIES 20-1 & 20-2

Students find new expressions of Nation in the beliefs, values, and attitudes of peoples; 
focus on solutions to a legacy of issues in democratic nation building; respond to dictatorial 
circumstances of oppression; and consider the benefits and costs of national self-determination,  pursuing national interests and internationalism.
PRE-REQUISITE: 50% or higher in Social 10-2 for -2 level and 60% or higher in Social 10-1 for -1 level

SOCIAL STUDIES 30-1 & 30-2

Students critically assess ideology and world views held by people and their societies 
throughout history to contemporary time; create solutions through debate on social, economic and political issues that have shaped our world; and consensus build solutions for conflict and clashing ideologies to promote peace, security and human development.
PRE-REQUISITE: 50% or higher in Social 20-2 for -2 level and 60% or higher in Social 20-1 for -1 level
